About Mage
Mage is legal AI for M&A. We read deal documents and surface what matters, so attorneys can review deals in days, not weeks.
The platform covers transactional diligence end to end. Connect a data room and Mage classifies every document, resolves amendments to their chains, runs risk checks, and flags what needs a lawyer's eyes. From there it drafts the deliverables: diligence memos, disclosure schedules, questionnaires, and redline reviews. Mage also ships a self-serve data room with AI organization, a numbered index, and an open-source CLI.
Mage was founded in 2024 by Raffi Isanians, an M&A attorney who practiced at Kirkland & Ellis, Gunderson Dettmer, and Goodwin, together with an engineer from Google Cloud's Document AI team. We build for the work attorneys actually do during a deal: fewer clicks, clear findings, and documents you can trace every answer back to.
Mage is backed by Y Combinator, NEA, Goodwater, Pioneer Fund, and Gurtin Ventures. The platform is SOC 2 Type II audited. We are based in San Francisco at 2261 Market Street, STE 10856, San Francisco, CA 94114, US.
